The sycamore tree, is commonly found in the more mountainous regions of Europe and North America. Dense and uniform with a fine and linear grain, sycamore is an excellent wood for cabinetmaking. Thanks to its naturally pale colouring and fine grain it can support a varied range of taints and is also supremely adaptable to every extensive palette of lacquers. We recommend a satin or high gloss finish on sycamore.
