Machining and Assembly
Machining and assembly are extremely laborious and require great precision and ingenuity. Philippe Hurel strictly adheres to certain ancestral assembly techniques, such as the dovetail joint or the famous mortise and tenon.
Up to five specialists are needed per piece of furniture, which, once assembled, is dried for twenty-four to forty-eight hours before being handed over to those in charge of finishing operations.
