The latest addition to the Silvio family is a circular dining table with a central pedestal base and a clean, geometric design. The taut lines and solid forms highlight the interplay of textures and materials in striking contrasts. This begins with the cast brass base, its raw, granite-like appearance echoing the sheen of the Ziricote tabletop. Ziricote is a precious wood, prized by luthiers, whose black veins create a breathtaking landscape of undulations and overlaps. Between the two, the turned stem is lacquered in a deep black. A successful balance of lightness and strength, the Silvio table firmly establishes itself within the tradition of fine cabinetmaking by Maison Philippe Hurel.
